God says that He “magnifies His word above His name.” This means that His name is good because His word is good. Seeking earthly solutions for earthly problems will always fail, but our hope will always be secured when we declare the word of God in the midst of our trial.

I would argue that, in the same way, heavily-processed worship services that lack the genuine pursuit of God’s presence, and the surrender to His leadership become more and more toxic to the health of a church over time.
